About

Process first, then code

For six and a half years I've built business-process systems: the flows a company runs on, from an order to its invoice. I started at FaraGostar teaching and implementing ProcessMaker for names like Saipa Citroën and Bank Sina, and now I design them end to end at an international engineering company.

Lately I've gone deeper than process design and built a full internal platform in Go, from a document search engine to a messenger with voice and video calls. The engineering stretches from SQL and PHP triggers to WebRTC media servers and security hardening.

    • Designed and built the company's core order-registration process on ProcessMaker: many stages and sub-processes, unified into one coherent flow.
    • Integrated the attendance and finance systems with ProcessMaker over REST APIs for one connected organisation.
    • Built docfind, an internal Go platform: document search, reporting, a messenger with calls, and more (see the case study below).
    • Automated mail handling and routine tasks with n8n to cut manual work.

    • Taught BPMS on ProcessMaker to client organisations and enabled their in-house teams to run and improve their own processes.
    • Implemented and optimised processes with ProcessMaker, PHP triggers, REST APIs and SQL for clients including Saipa Citroën, Bank Sina and Mihan.
    • Analysed and fixed process and internal-code issues to raise throughput and cut errors.
    • Diagnosed SQL Server database problems and advised on network and firewall issues.

What began as a document search tool grew into the internal platform the company runs on. I built it in Go, from the backend and database to the web client and an Android app. The screens below come from a demo copy filled with invented people, companies and numbers: the real system holds colleagues' and customers' data.
